I've often thought about making new clothes out of old ones. That is exactly what Preloved, a Canadian fashion line, has done. Cool. I actually heard about this woman and her son here in the US who take peoples favorite knit sweaters that are all stretched out or stained and makes them into hats and scarfs and gloves. The whole recycled clothing this is a good trend.
